Get in Touch

Reaching out is often the hardest part. There's no pressure here just an invitation to explore whether this work might serve you.

It's normal to feel uncertain

You might be wondering if your struggles are "serious enough" for therapy. (They are.) You might be unsure what to say or worried about being judged. (You won't be.) You might feel vulnerable just considering this step. (That's completely understandable.)

Reaching out doesn't mean you're committing to anything yet. It's just opening a conversation. You can ask questions, share as much or as little as feels right, and see if this feels like it might be a fit.

Whatever brought you here matters. You're welcome to reach out.

What to include in your message

You don't need to write a lot just enough for me to get a sense of what you're looking for. Here are some things that are helpful to know:

  • Your name (or the name you'd like to be called)
  • What's bringing you to therapy right now even just a sentence or two about what you're struggling with or hoping to work on
  • Whether you're interested in in-person or video sessions
  • Your availability general sense of what times/days work for you
  • Any questions you have about the process, fees, my approach, or anything else
  • If cost is a concern, please mention that I hold limited sliding scale spots and we can discuss what's possible

Don't worry about getting it perfect. Just write what feels true and we'll go from there.

What happens next

1

You reach out

Send me an email or leave a voicemail with the information above.

2

I respond

I'll get back to you within 24-48 hours (usually sooner). I'll answer any questions you have and, if it seems like we might be a good fit, suggest some times for a 50-minute consultation.

3

We meet for a consultation

This is a full 50-minute session where we explore what you're facing, what you're hoping for, and whether this work feels right for both of us. There's no pressure to continue if it doesn't feel like the right fit.

4

We decide together

If we both feel it's a good fit, we'll schedule our first regular session and begin the work. If not, I'll do my best to connect you with other resources or referrals.

If you're in crisis

I'm not able to provide crisis support. If you're in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please use one of these resources:

  • Emergency: 911 or visit your nearest emergency room
  • Suicide Crisis Helpline: 988 (24/7)
